None had as many parts as this...I don't think my back has forgiven me yet :o) The two main construction issues I came across were (i) the cd racks were too small - I contacted the company and they sent me free replacements in a very timely fashion, and (ii) the holes for the metal plates were too small and not in line - I ended up having to use a drill to start the screws entries in then finish manually with a standard tool. It took 2 of us to put it together - one to just get the parts and keep them straight. It took about 3 hours to put it together. Finished product is very nice with lots of space. The desk came in a torn up box, 1/4th of the parts were either nicked / scratched, only one part needed to be glued back together. Everything was coated in tiny bits of white styrofoam which was shredded and statically attached to each piece. The packing style appears as if it COULD have made it to me without damaging the parts if the box was given more love in transit. The desk has a "Made in China" sticker on it. This desk is extremely roomy and is made strong, a lot of different draws as well as a modern slick design. It took a decent number of hours putting together but was well worth it. I definitely recommend two people to assemble this desk mainly because you have to build two parts and connect them and they are fairly heavy.
